Our Surf and Turf scholarship fundraiser is coming up on January 25th. And, while the event meal is a ton of fun, music, dancing and good food the Sonoma 111 parlor is the backbone of why it’s a great event The idea that “Many hands make for lighter work” is just so so true, and an hour of your time would go a long way to making our fundraiser dinner a successful and wonderful evening. Please consider volunteering to help, contact Patrick 707-337-8649 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have an Hour or Two . . . give us a hand
Below are areas we could use a few hours of your time
- Shimp Skewer for Surf and Turf
Saturday night January 25th we will serve about 300 dinners of Steak and Jumbo Shrimp. That means on Friday night the 24th we will need plenty of hands to help skewering the shrimp and making them ready for the barbecue. With extra hands this task goes very quickly, and a pizza dinner is always supplied for all the help.
- Setup the Vet’s building
The Vet’s building is a wonderful venue for our events . . . but it takes some serious “all hands on deck” to get it ready. We have the dinning hall, front reception area, bar, serving, raffle and kitchen that could use your help to make ready for a great evening.
- Clean up and take down
Probable the one task very few really look forward to, but is so important is the ever present cleanup and take down. One of the reason why we have the Vet’s building to use is because we always leave it clean after our events, please if you have just 1 hour Saturday night come down and lend a hand.
